WORDS OF WISDOM FROM MAWLANA (from Konya, to the World)

  • WATER UNDERNEATH THE BOAT İS A SUPPORT, (BUT) WATER IN THE BOAT IS THE RUIN OF THE BOAT. (Using money for necessities or loving money, it's different.)
  • Everything that is made beautiful and fair and lovely is made (so) for the eye of him that sees.
  •  Love is drawing the bitter ones to the sweet, because the foundation of (all) loves is righteousness.
  • Thou who art not a Joseph, be a Jacob; be (familiar), like him, with weeping and sore distress.
  • Man's original food is the LIGHT OF GOD; animal food is improper for him.

WORDS OF WİSDOM FROM MAWLANA (from Konya to the World)

  • That you become a slave to a man of enlightened heart is better (for you) than that you should walk upon the crown of the head of kings.
  • Grief is better than the empire of the World, so that you may call unto God in secret.
  • This world is the mountain, and our action the shout : the echo of the shouts come (back) to us.
  • Give thanks (to God) and be a slave to those who give thanks : be in their presence (as one) dead, be steadfast.
  • What is the world? TO BE FORGETFUL OF GOD ; IT IS NOT MERCHANDISE AND SILVER AND WEIGHING_SCALES AND WOMEN.
  • Oh, many the one that is sweet as sugar, but poison is concealed in the sugar.
  • Seek the pearl in the oyster-shell, my brother, and seek technical skill from the craftsmen.
  • When you have acted loyally in (keeping) your covenant with God, God will graciously keep His covenant with you.
  • Choose the love of that Living One who is everlasting, who gives thee to drink of the wine that increases life.

GLAD NEWS OF THE ROSE

GLAD NEWS OF THE ROSE - IT’S A VERY BEAUTIFUL STORY OF A GOD-INSPIRED DESIRE TO SEEK THE WAY OF TRUTH- (ERKAM CALENDAR)

A honorable man from İstanbul named Rum Yorgo Nikolav does everything for his stammerer son Peter, however he cannot find a remedy for his grief. His only hope rests for the marriage of his son. With this aim, an appropriate bride candidate is found and agreed on their marriage.

The day of the marriage comes. Yorgo Nikolav has various food cooked, delicious sherbets and desserts prepared for their guests.

For a while, the door is knocked. That is Miss Hatice, their neighboor. Husband of this blessed woman died cause of an accident and she became widow with her two children. That woman is not among the guests. She goes there only to want fire. They give her a shovel of coal.

The guests start to come severally, but Miss Hatice comes again before long and wants coal and gets again.

After all of the guests come, when the woman comes faintheartedly with the shovel in her hands, Yorgo says that “something is wrong with this” and to understand the reality follows the woman furtively and goes into the courtyard. Yorgo walks towards the house and is startled with the voice coming from the window.

Crying children tell about their sorrows and Miss Hatice answers despairingly “I cannot go once more. What can I do, they do not understand me, be patient. Tomorrow is Muslim Festival of Sacrifices and our muslim neigboors will bring meat to us.” , she says.

Yorgo comes back his home and getting his maid with him bring lots of food to the woman by saying “Please forvige us, we couldn’t give you a invitation, please accept this.” The man gives also money and says, “Tomorrow is your Festival, buy your children something with it.” and this makes them happy.

After Yorgo goes, this widow and the orphans prayes from the heart sincerely, “May Allah, my neighboor helps me in my trouble times, and bless them and give his son goodness My God!”

After twenty days pass, Hadji Ahmet Hodja from Kayseri comes to Yorgo’s house and tells of an event that he has;

“This year I am in Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca), I drop a sleep cause of the tiredness and of hot after the prayer at Arafat, one day before the Festival. In my dream, I saw The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h), he gives me your name and address. Then he gives his kind regards yo you. There sould be a deep meaning under this salam. Tell, for the sake of Allah, what a benefact do you do to gain God’s sake?”

After Yorgo listens to Hadji Ahmet in tears, he comprehends how his son overcome stammer gets the secret and confirms to the truth of The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) -a greatly respected and loved person, remedy for our pains- from his heart again and again.

P.S. WE LOVE YOU THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD!!!
WE LOVE YOU RASÛLALLAH!!!
WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!
